During her visit to the United States, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
In her official statement, President Osmani said the discussion focused on the security situation in Kosovo and NATO’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
She emphasized that Kosovo remains firmly committed to its path toward NATO membership, as well as to building a secure future for all its citizens.
President Osmani’s full statement reads:
“As part of my engagements in the United States, I met with NATO Secretary General Mr. Mark Rutte to discuss the security situation in our country and the vital role of NATO’s mission in preserving peace and security in the region. Kosovo remains committed to its path toward NATO membership and to securing a safe future for all our citizens,” the statement said.
