On Friday, three people tested positive to COVID-19, while the number of active infections continues to drop, currently estimated at 52 across the entire country.
From the beginning of the pandemic, more than 130,000 tested have been diagnosed with the virus.
Currently, only three patients are receiving medical treatment at the Infective Diseases hospital.
The virus has claimed 2,456 lives since its first outbreak, mainly from Tirana, Elbasan, and Fier.
According to the Ministry of Health, nearly 974,500 vaccine jabs have been administered, with 407,400 citizens already having received both doses.
Although it had joined COVAX, Albania turned to China and Russia to secure more vaccine doses needed to speed up its massive vaccination campaign.
The vaccines being administered in Albania are Pfizer and BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, and Sputnik V.
