In the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 virus didn’t claim any lives in our country. From the data published by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, out of the 2.954 tests that were conducted today, only one came back positive.
In addition, the COVID-designated hospitals are only treating one patient, as the total number of active cases in our country is currently, 63.
Based on the daily reports published by the ministry, it seems that in the last 24 hours in our country, 4 citizens have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic in our country to 129,994.
Until now, 2.456 citizens have passed away due to the coronavirus, the majority of whom with underlying health conditions.
In an attempt to keep the situation under control, the government has extended the vaccination campaign onto all citizens over 18.
