Members of the Albanian Parliament return to parliamentary life on Monday afternoon in a session dedicated to addressing citizens’ concerns, which is expected to last no more than 4 hours.
Along with the resumption of parliamentary sessions, the opposition’s action will also resume to prevent the normal conduct of the session without fulfilling their demands for the establishment of investigative commissions and the change in the composition of the special commission for electoral reform.
Nineteen Democratic Party deputies will not be able to participate in the plenary session as they have been excluded by the Ethics Secretariat.
The action within the session is expected to be led by the chairman of the Democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, who has completed a 10-day disciplinary measure outside Parliament.
Meanwhile, outside the plenary session hall, 30 minutes before the start of parliament, at 16:30, excluded deputies have warned of a protest. The news was communicated on Saturday at the national council meeting by Democrat MP Flamur Noka.
