Passenger caught with 81 cigarette boxes during control at Pristina Airport

On Sunday at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari”, during the check of a suitcase, quantities of red and white Marlboro cigarettes without banderol were found.

The Kosovo Police has announced that after opening the suitcase at customs, 81 cigarette boxes were found and seized.

The announcement of the Kosovo Police:

“During the check of a suitcase of a passenger at the exit, it was noticed that he has a quantity of cigarettes in his suitcase. After opening the suitcase in the presence of customs officials, it was noticed that there are 9 boxes of Marlboro cigarettes. After further control and counting by the customs officials, it was found that a total of 81 boxes of red and white Marlboro cigarettes without banners were found in all the suitcases that the passenger had. All this quantity of cigarettes was seized by the Customs. By chance, the Customs investigation unit was taken,” the announcement states.
