The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, declared that the operational center of cyber defense will be built this year.

In a statement to the media, Peleshi said that in 2023, the military cyber defense unit will have completed 100% of its human capacities.

“The year 2023 will be the year when the military cyber defense unit will have completed 100% of its human capacities. We are in the recruitment process, we have changed the structure, we have tripled the number of experts in the structure, now we are recruiting new cyber security experts, and we have increased salaries. IT and cyber specialists are the highest-paid and most sought-after professions in the labor market. So far we have increased them significantly. We will build the operational center of cyber defense. We have started cooperation with the center in Estonia, the year 2033 when the membership will be complete and we will be contributors to this center”, he emphasized.
