The prestigious brand of internationally renowned designer Philipp Plein, The Plein Hotel, which inaugurated a luxury hotel in Milan just a few months ago, has chosen Tirana as the first city for its expansion outside Italy. The Plein Group has signed an exclusive agreement with the Albanian company X One shpk, led by Ylli Ujka and Çesk Ivanaj, for the construction of an ambitious project in the capital.
The project will be developed in the heart of Tirana, at the entrance of the Grand Park, near the former Republic Guard premises. Known as Grand Park Skyline, the project will feature three towers—two of which will be residential, while the third will house a five-star hotel under The Plein Hotel brand. This project aims to create a luxurious space that combines fashion, entertainment, and high-end services, positioning Tirana as an exclusive destination.
The Plein Group and X One introduced the project at a special event held this Saturday at the Palace of Brigades.
The world-renowned designer Philipp Plein himself attended the event and, in an interview with Euronews Albania, shared highly positive impressions of Albania. Plein stated that the project will include all of the Plein Group’s exclusive brands in hospitality, gastronomy, and entertainment.
“This is my first time in Albania, and from the plane, I was admiring the fantastic beaches. I arrived this morning and was amazed. It’s a country in rapid development. Expect surprises from Philipp Plein in Albania,” said Plein.
Following the presentation, the event culminated with a fashion show featuring the designer’s globally recognized collections.
The Plein Hotel will offer at least 150 rooms and 100 serviced residences, designed for a select clientele. The complex will also feature several luxury brands, including a Japanese restaurant named Sukaru Ba, an exclusive club called Crystal Beach, and a bar named Philipp’s, all reflecting the style and service standards successfully established at The Plein Hotel in Milan.
The interior design of the complex will be a collaboration between designer Philipp Plein and his team of architects, aiming to deliver a unique experience that aligns with the brand’s values. This ambitious project, expected to be completed within five years, is set to open its doors around 2030, further solidifying X One’s position as a leader in the luxury hospitality sector in Albania.
For the Plein Group, this step represents another opportunity to expand its brand internationally and strengthen its presence in hospitality, entertainment, and gastronomy.
