The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, and several MPs of this party have been threatened.
In a formal response to Klankosova.tv, the police say that they have taken the necessary measures regarding the case.
Earlier in the media, it was reported that there is a plan to assassinate the head of the LDK and the MPs of this party.
The vice-president of this party, Kujtim Shala, told RTV Dukagjini that information of this nature was received today.
“I can confirm that there was some kind of planning in Kosovo and some EU countries and outside the territory of Europe. Individuals have fallen prey to wiretapping by one of the main intelligence agencies of an EU country. From what we have been told, there was a structured plan to assassinate Abdixhiku and three LDK MPs”, Shala said adding that the assassination was planned for political reasons.
