Prime Minister Edi Rama received the charge d’affaires of the American embassy in Tiranë, David Wisner, in his office this Wednesday.

The American Embassy in Tiranë through a post on the official Facebook page informs that the topic of the discussion between the two officials was the close partnership between the two countries in the UN regarding Ukraine and the importance of supporting the Albanian youth.

“The Chargé d’Affaires David Wisner met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama to reaffirm the strong bond between the United States and Albania. They discussed the close partnership of our countries in the United Nations Security Council, especially for Ukraine, as well as the importance of supporting the Albanian youth. Wisner also thanked the Prime Minister for the extraordinary hospitality that Albania has shown to Afghans,” the embassy’s announcement states.
