The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, expressed optimism that a new dynamic will start in the dialogue with Serbia, after the constitution of the new structures of the European Union.

“We are waiting for the new European Commission to start with a new dynamic and, therefore, we are optimistic. Also, we insist on the surrender of the master criminal Milan Radoicic, who killed the sergeant, the hero Afrim Bunjaku, and his group, which have already been included in the 160-page indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office. We demand that the letter of former Prime Minister Brnabiq be withdrawn, since with that letter, which was sent to 27 EU countries, she practically withdrew from the agreement. At the same time, we request that the Brussels basic agreement and the Ohrid annex be signed, because the signature is a legal guarantee and unshakable evidence of good will and good faith between the parties.”

Kurti added that, in the meeting with the German chancellor, he requested the removal of EU measures against Kosovo.

“In the meetings we have had, we have requested that the unjust punitive measures against Kosovo be removed. We must be given the status of a candidate country and as soon as possible the questionnaire with those thousands of questions, which we will answer with great responsibility, patience and discipline, will be sent to us.  We don’t have, and we don’t want to have, any alternative other than the European Union,” he declared.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, made these statements after the Berlin Process summit.
