Albin Kurti has declared through a post on his official Facebook page that Aleksandar Vucic is obsessed with Adem Jashari.

He commented on Sunday’s event, saying that the Serbian president tried to turn the Orthodox Monastery of Banjska into a “Tower of Jasharaj” for Kosovo Serbs.

“At the May 2 meeting in Brussels, he told us that Millan Radojčič will become Adem Jashari of the Serbs. But, being a dictator, he does not understand history: epics and liberation are not fabricated or copied,” wrote the Prime Minister of Kosovo.

Kurti said that Kosovo is a democratic and pro-Western state, so whoever integrates lives better. According to him, the Serbs in Kosovo do not need liberation from the Republic of Kosovo, but from the terrorist tools of Serbia.

Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku, who was a member of the Kosovo Police since 2001, was killed on the morning of September 24 after a clash with an armed group in Banjska of Zveçan in the northern part of the country inhabited by a majority of Serbs.

The armed attackers, about 30 people, were located in the monastery of Banjska, from where they exchanged shots with the law enforcement agencies.

The authorities also confiscated a large amount of weapons. The Kosovo authorities held Serbia responsible for the attack, while Belgrade officially blamed the Kosovo Serbs.
