Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is expected to arrive in the southern city of Vlora this afternoon.
According to media, it is learned that Meloni will be staying in Vlora for about 2-3 days for a vacation along with her family.
Meloni has responded to the invitation from Prime Minister Edi Rama, who a few days ago stated in Italian media that he had invited the Italian premier to take a break in Albania.
Meloni’s visit to Vlora comes at a time when Italian media have dedicated numerous articles to our country, and this year many Italians have chosen to spend their vacations in Albania.
Even Prime Minister Rama has given several interviews to Italian media about the tourist boom, following a photo he shared that drew parallels between the Albanian exodus to Bari in 1990 and the Italian tourists coming to the country.

The head of government has indicated that the number of around 500 thousand Italians visiting Albania this year is being reached.
