PM Edi Rama was continuing with his electoral campaign in Saranda today, when he decided to send some accusations in the direction of the country’s president, Ilir Meta. Rama accused the president of organizing a campaign in the district county of Vlora, using prosecutors and judges dismissed by the vetting process.
“He has picked his candidature and is organizing a campaign in hidden corners with subjects of the OFL. He is promising, out and about that he is going to get people out of prison. Corrupted prosecutors and judges that were pounded by the vetting process, have come together and are moving like a pack of hyenas, going into hiding dens,” said the head of state.
During a discussion with citizens about the electoral campaign, the Prime minister commented again on the obstruction of the airport for 48 hours, which he blamed on the Meta-Berisha duo.
“They are the ones that held the airport hostage. They are the ones that are ready to burn Albania to the ground from the start if it meant achieving their goals,” said the Prime minister.
The PM also wasn’t short of more ironies for the leader of the democrats, Lulzim Basha.
“I was with him; I was telling him tons of jokes so he didn’t fall asleep. This is true because it got very late,” said the PM.
