“Step on the field, score your penalty, and may the best one win,” – this was the call of PM Edi Rama, right after casting his vote in “Ymer Lala” school in Surrel, accompanied by his wife.
In his statement for the media, he said that today is a beautiful day, when no one should nourish any kind of negative feelings against those that are expressing their opinion through their vote.
The PM called on all citizens to not forget that ‘we are a big family, in the same nation’, while adding that ‘democracy should be used maximally’.
“Let’s never forget that we are a big family, in the same nation and on the other side, no one should forget that democracy is a sport, without spectators and everyone should step on the field and score their vote,” – said Rama.
