Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the attack on the residence of the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Sudan, calling it a flagrant violation of international law and diplomatic norms.
In a statement published on the “X” network, Rama emphasizes that Albania condemns this unacceptable act and expresses its solidarity with the United Arab Emirates.
The head of government calls for full compliance with the Vienna Convention, encouraging all parties to act responsibly and respect international law.
“Albania firmly condemns the cowardly attack on the residence of the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Khartoum. This flagrant violation of international law and every diplomatic norm should not go unchallenged. Albania stands by the United Arab Emirates, calling for full respect of the Vienna Convention and full diplomatic protection. We call on all parties to prioritize peace and respect international law,” writes Rama in “X”.
