Prime Minister Edi Rama continued this Sunday with his thanking tour, this time in the city of Gjirokastra.
Thanking citizens for the trust they gave to his candidates, Rama said that all this trust must be rewarded or else this could turn into the biggest blow to his government. He said that citizens should never feel disrespected or trampled upon when they go to government offices.
“When you think that there are state offices, which slam the door in people’s faces, when you think that we have state leaders, who behave like very important person, this vote seems to me to be an exaggerated belief of the people, which is in great danger, that if we do not reward this trust, it can be returned to us in a blow that no one can imagine.
We must understand correctly what happened on May 14 and return our government to prosperity for as many people as possible. Anyone should not feel despised, trampled, disrespected if he is a citizen of this country. Everyone should feel that they are part of the community”, said Prime Minister Rama.
