Prime Minister Edi Rama held a joint press conference with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Joseph Borrell.

In his speech, the head of the government said that the time has come to de-escalate the situation in the North of Kosovo.

He emphasized that Albania is committed to working with the EU so that the situation in Kosovo does not have a negative impact on the region.

“The time has come for the de-escalation of the situation, we have mentioned this several times, but it has always become more urgent. Albania is committed to working with you to prevent this situation from affecting the region in a negative way. There are still many things to do. We can’t let everything collapse as if it were a sandcastle,” he said.
