During the Summit of the European Political Community, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a meeting with the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.
The 4 leaders had a short talk and had a coffee shortly before the start of the meeting of the European Political Community in Budapest.
Greek media write that during this informal conversation, the four leaders exchanged opinions on the results of the American elections, as well as regional and international developments.
European leaders gathered in Hungary for the fifth summit of the European Political Community (EPC), a platform that was established in 2022 to strengthen cooperation between European countries in dealing with major global issues.
The summit is expected to focus on several important topics, including the situation in Ukraine, tensions in the Middle East and challenges related to economic security and irregular migration in Europe.
