Prime Minister Edi Rama will travel to Brussels on Monday.
Rama’s visit to Brussels comes at the invitation of the president of CoE, Charles Michel, with whom he is expected to hold a meeting at 12:30.
It is not known what is the motive of Prime Minister Rama’s visit to Brussels.
A day ago in Brussels, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, held separate meetings with the high representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, and with the EU’s special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
In a statement to the media today, Prime Minister Rama said that there will be no meeting or relationship with official Belgrade, as long as the three Kosovo policemen are not released.
Rama said that in every channel of communication with Serbia these days, Albania will only have the request for the release of the three Kosovo policemen who were taken hostage by the Serbian authorities.
