Prime Minister Edi Rama said in the Assembly of the Socialist Party that despite the current success of touristic Albania, they still need to correct the present to fix the problems that have appeared during this season as well.

He said that there is still work to be done with the infrastructure of tourist areas so that Albania is ready for 2030.

“This reality is where and where better, than the one of yesterday, but where and where more problematic than that of the future. Our task is to impress more and more firmly on our heads that the correction of the present is the reason for our political existence, the necessity that must nourish our political and governing organism. For example, the correction of the present as the Maldives of Europe, the foreigners who until yesterday called us the cave of Europe, definitely requires that no one close their eyes to the serious problems that remain to be solved.

There are many, from the infrastructure of Ksamil, which became a symbol of Albania throughout the foreign media, and on to several other points from Shkodra to Lezhë, Durrës and Sarandë. Fixing the present requires that none of us turn our noses up at the septic tanks that collect hotel sewage.

The correction of the present is that this governing force does not turn a blind eye to the ever-increasing demand for quality services and a qualified workforce. Correcting the present requires that none of us leave today’s work for tomorrow, in the full sense of the word, to do everything necessary for Albanian 2030 Tourism”, said Prime Minister Rama.
