A rally against Israel’s war in Gaza and in support of Palestine took place in Tirana from noon.

The participants gathered in “Skanderbeg” square with banners against the war and the killing of innocent people in Gaza. They tried to march through the boulevard towards “Mother Teresa” square but were not allowed by the police.

“To stop violence against children once and for all, it is a drama that is being experienced not only by us, but by the whole world,” said a protester.

“What is happening there is genocide, it is extermination, we cannot stay without reacting”, said another.

This is the second pro-Palestine march that takes place in Tirana, while such gatherings have been held in many other capitals of the world, from Europe to the USA.

As 30 days have passed since the start of the bloody conflict between Hamas and Israel, thousands of civilians have been killed in Gaza, many of whom are children.
