Through an announcement, the State Police has said that users who use “Apple” communication devices are sent messages via iMessage from different iCloud addresses, which aim to obtain the data of Albanians.
Also, the Police has warned the citizens that if they receive such a message, where they are promised large sums of money without doing anything, to appear near the offices to notify.

DVP Tirana-From the continuous monitoring of virtual spaces, in social networks, in order to highlight illegal activities, mainly in the field of cybercrimes, the specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana, have found that repeatedly, mainly to users who use “Apple” communication devices, messages from different iCloud addresses are sent with iMessage.
The recipients of these messages are promised significant income in foreign currencies, having as a criterion only the use of their mobile device, and the interested persons (authors), invite them to communicate through the “Telegram” application.
Taking into consideration that this activity, the dynamics of which is not yet completely clear, through financial enticement, may take possession of the personal data of Albanian citizens, we inform you to be careful with your data.
If you have received such a message, and you have shared your personal data, or you have been deceived by such activity, we invite you to appear at our offices as well as the police offices of Computer and Cybercrimes in the Local Police Directorates and Directorate for the Investigation of Computer and Cybercrimes in the DPPSH.
