The head of LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, has raised doubts about the project of the Port of Durres.

In his speech before Parliament, Shehi emphasized that there was no transparency about the project, adding among other things that the lands in Durres will be stolen just as half of Albania has been stolen.

“Does it have all the technical conditions? Our port is the entrance of corridor 8. It is also the port of Kosovo and Macedonia. Is there a plan for this job? Who will build this Port, and who will pay for this Port? Who will pay for the port that costs 2 billion euros? The time is 20 years, why so much? What is happening, there are many doubts. I urge you to doubt, there is no shame in doubting. Those lands will be stolen just as half of Albania was stolen. Many of you will see that in these letters there is no seriousness, nor love or respect for Albanian citizens”, he said.
