The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj met today the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Tirana, Mr. David Wisner.

During the meeting, the Head of State reaffirmed Albania’s steadfast commitment to the strategic partnership with the United States.

President Begaj also emphasized the key role of the USA in the consolidation of democracy in Albania.

In this context, President Begaj considered essential the support of the USA in increasing efficiency in the fight against organized crime and corruption in Albania.
