The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, extended her congratulations to Donald Trump following his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States.

In a post on the platform X, Osmani expressed Kosovo’s readiness to collaborate with Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and the new administration “to strengthen our special relationship, promote our shared values of freedom, and address the challenges of our time.”

“Kosovo will forever hold a profound sense of gratitude for the historic role the United States has played in supporting us during some of the darkest chapters of our history,” read the congratulatory message shared on X.

“The commitment of your nation to defending freedom and human dignity saved our people from a genocidal regime,” Osmani added.

She emphasized that Kosovo proudly remains “the most pro-American people in the world.”
