The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, declared on Wednesday that she supports the protest in Tirana held in defense of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), reports KosovaPress.
She stated that the KLA’s war was just and defensive, while the aggressor was Serbia.

“I support this protest, and I have supported every protest that calls for justice. The citizens of Kosovo and Albanians everywhere have never asked for anything other than justice — justice that respects the highest principles of human rights protection. Kosovo, and specifically the leaders who are now in The Hague, appeared before justice precisely because they believed in it. It has now been five years, but we, as institutions of Kosovo, continue to demand that the highest principles of human rights protection be respected,” said Osmani in a statement to the media after a visit to the Oncology Clinic.
