Prisons’ Directorate approves permission for Fredi Beleri to be sworn in the EP

The Directorate of Prisons approves the permission for Fredi Beleri to participate in the European Parliament, to be sworn in as an MEP.

Beleri is expected to be released from the cell tomorrow, as his leave starts on Monday at 10:00.

Sources for Euronews Albania inform that the permission for Beleri will be for 5 days, and will be accompanied by prison officials.

Fredi Beleri will be sworn in as an MEP on July 15. He claimed to have served 4/5 of the sentence.

We recall that Beleri was elected MEP as a candidate of the New Democracy party in Greece.
