The High Prosecutorial Council has officially launched the procedures today for electing the new head of the Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Prosecution Office (SPAK), following the completion of Altin Dumani’s mandate.
On the agenda of today’s plenary session, the main item was the discussion and approval of the draft decision “On declaring the vacancy for the head of SPAK,” which paves the way for the competition to lead one of the most important justice institutions.
The agenda also included:
- Approval of the minutes of the plenary meeting held on September 4, 2025;
- Discussion and approval of the draft decision on declaring the vacancy for the head of SPAK;
- Discussion and approval of the draft evaluation reports on the ethical and professional performance of three prosecutors:
- Françesk Ganaj
- Ermira Manelli
- Hysni Mulaj
The meeting also provides space for questions and other discussions of an institutional nature.
