If the parliamentary elections were to be held next Sunday, the Socialist Party would be the leading force in the district country of Elbasan, getting the majority of seats.
The survey conducted by MRB for Euronews Albania shows that the majority of citizens in the district of Elbasan would exhibit the following voting trends:
- SP – 44.8%
- DP – 36.4%
- SMI – 5.3%
- Others – 3.9%
- Undecided – 9.6%
Compared to the trend on a national level, Elbasan shows a decline (of 7.6%) for the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) and a rise for both major forces SP and DP.
According to MRB’s projection, taking into account the votes of the undecided, SMI isn’t able to get a single mandate in Elbasan, whereas the other parties would be divided in the following manner:
SP – 8 seats
DP – 6 seats
