The Democratic Party has seen a rise in the support of voters. However, the results of the parliamentary elections for the district county of Tirana are expected to give SP the win at a significant advantage.
The third survey of MRB for Euronews Albania showed that the majority of voters in the district county of Tirana lean more towards SP with a difference 4.3% from DP:
SP – 42.2%
DP – 37.9%
SMI – 5.5%
Others – 1.8%
I won’t vote – 3.2%
I don’t know – 7.9%
Didn’t answer – 1.5%
Compared to the last two surveys, SP is at almost the same level around 42% (42%; 41.5%; 42.2%), whereas the DP coalition has seen a considerable rise (31.7%; 36.5%; 37.9%). SMI on the other hand has seen quite a drop from 6.4 to 5.5%.
Anayzing voting tendencies and voter behavior compared to the elections of 2017, MRB predicts that SP will win the district county of Tirana with a 4.9% difference.
SP– 48.3%
DP – 43.4%
SMI – 6.3%
Others– 2%
Something that is worthy of mentioning is that the difference between SP and DP has considerably narrowed in recent weeks from 9.7% back in December to 4.9% in April.
With this percentage, Tirana is expected to have the following division of seats:
SP – 18 seats
DP – 16 seats
SMI – 2 seats
