The police operation coded “Escort” is finalized by the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic in the DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana, after an investigation carried out with special methods.

A prostitution network was hit this Tuesday by the Tirana police. The blues of the capital arrested a Russian citizen and a Ukrainian citizen in the act, who were using foreign citizens advertised on the website “Escort Tirana” for prostitution.

The police discovered that the sums of money benefited from this illegal activity were transferred to the organizers of this page, still unidentified citizens.

In total, 11 citizens were criminally prosecuted for practicing prostitution, and sums of money benefited from this illegal activity were seized.

The materials in their charge were passed to the prosecution for further action.

As part of this operation, the Ukrainian citizen A. T., 27 years old, and the Russian citizen E. M., 37 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act for the criminal offenses of “Prostitution”, “Using prostitution” and “Maintaining premises for prostitution”.

These two citizens were caught red-handed on “Naim Frashëri” street, taking sums of money from foreign citizens, which they allegedly used for prostitution.

During the verifications carried out, it was found that these citizens collected the sums of money obtained from foreign citizens who were suspected of using them for prostitution, which were advertised on the website “Escort Tirana”, and then these sums of money were transferred to the organizers of this page, still unidentified citizens.

Following the actions, criminal proceedings were initiated against 11 foreign citizens for practicing prostitution.

Previously, during the investigations carried out in the framework of this criminal proceeding, the coded police operation “Foreing” was finalized, the police announced.
