Organizations emerging from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) will protest today at 13:00 in front of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, in support of former KLA leaders who are, according to them, being unjustly tried in The Hague.
BDI leader in North Macedonia, Ali Ahmeti, reacted to the protest with a post on his Facebook page, describing the process against the former KLA leaders as one based on Serbia’s accusations fabricated by Russia.
“Today, with mind and heart, I stand with my compatriots who will protest in Strasbourg, where the great injustice against the KLA and the Albanian people began, in front of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
This court is not judging what it was established for, but is judging based on Serbia’s fabrications, orchestrated by Russia.
Hashimi, Kadriu, Rexhepi, Jakupi and others are our allies, and their place is in Kosovo.
Their innocence was confirmed by our American and European friends in The Hague, therefore, free our boys!
This injustice must end immediately — the entire Albanian people stand up for justice for the sanctity of our liberation war,” Ali Ahmeti wrote.
