From June 20 to July 20, the Socialist Party (PS) will hold a political academy at its headquarters, where senior party figures will give lectures to newly elected MPs from the May 11 internal elections.
The academy is structured into five distinct modules, each covering a key subject that aims to prepare new MPs for their institutional roles.
Among the lecturers will be experienced PS lawmakers, as well as Prime Minister Edi Rama himself.
Rama will lecture on the Role of the MP and the Ethics of Representation, part of the first module.
The modules to be followed by the new MPs:

Module 1 – The Role of the MP and the Ethics of Representation
Lecturers: Edi Rama, Fatmir Xhafaj, Erion Braçe, Niko Peleshi
– Focuses on the fundamental mission of public representatives and the ethical standards of political engagement. -
Module 2 – Functioning of Parliament
Lecturers: Etilda Gjonaj, Klotilda Bushka, Toni Gogu
– Covers parliamentary procedures, legislative structures, and the workings of legal institutions. -
Module 3 – Interinstitutional and International Relations
Lecturers: Elisa Spiropali, Adea Pirdeni, Olta Xhaçka
– Focuses on parliamentary diplomacy and interaction with international actors. -
Module 4 – Political Communication
Lecturers: Taulant Balla, Endri Fuga, Eduard Shalsi
– Training on strategic communication, the role of media, and public opinion engagement. -
Module 5 – The Socialist Party and Vision 2030
Lecturers: Milva Ekonomi, Bledi Çuçi, Evis Kushi
– Discussion on the Socialist Party’s long-term political platform and strategic priorities leading up to 2030.
According to the Socialist Party, this academy aims to prepare a new generation of MPs who not only understand their institutional responsibilities but are also equipped to actively contribute to implementing the PS vision for Albania’s future—particularly toward the 2030 goals.
