Minors are becoming more and more involved in crimes every day. From the data of the Court of First Instance of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction, it appears that there are 13 juvenile convicts in total for the year 2022, where one of them is female.

There are many reasons, this part of the modernization or globalization of the figure of a successful man or woman in a wrong and fast way is one of the very important factors, given that children are all the time with their phones in their hands”, he says. Psychologists raise concerns that parents have lost control over their children.

“Another part is the family, the fact that parents are busy with their careers more than ever and don’t have time to spend quality time with their children,” she adds.

“We need greater cooperation between this important trinomial, which is the school, the family and the community. What do I mean by that?! In Albania, 5% of national crimes are committed by minors. According to official data, during the year 2022, 1,470 criminal offenses were committed by minors with the participation of about 1,600 minors.
