From January 1 next year, the salaries of the civilian sector in Kosovo will increase. 55 euros more from January next year and another 55 euros plus from July 2025.
This news was given on Tuesday by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
He said that this formula was established in order to benefit those with the lowest salaries and for the increase to be made equally for everyone.
Details about this decision were given by the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, who also considered the promises of some opposition women for salary increases unrealistic and illegal.
This statement was immediately answered by the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, who repeated his promise, writing that in the first week of his government, the salary coefficient in the civil sector, which is now 110 euros, will become 150 euros.
