The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Albania has prepared a special program for Valentine’s Day. For some time now, the Theatre has launched a media campaign on social networks, mainly targeting young people, approaching them with the slogan “for a date at the opera”.
“If you haven’t invited your loved one for a date at the opera yet, this is the ideal opportunity,” writes the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet on social networks.
This Valentine’s Day, the Theatre will present “Puccini in Love”, an entire evening dedicated to love and passion, with arias and duets from the most famous operas of great love stories.
On February 14, arias and duets from the operas “Tosca”, “Turandot”, “La Boheme”, “Manon Lescaut”, “Madama Butterfly”, “Il Tabarro”, “Suor Angelica”, “Gianni Schicchi”, and “Le Villi” will be performed. All are works written by one of Italy’s most successful composers and globally renowned. Giacomo Puccini passed away 100 years ago, and theaters around the world have dedicated this year to his work.
