The Embassy of Qatar in Tirana organized a reception ceremony in the evening on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar. The ceremony was attended by a wide number of senior officials, including the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, heads and representatives of Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations accredited in Albania, mayors, as well as personalities from various fields such as politics , business, media and art.

In his speech, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Albania, Mr. Jabor bin Ali Al Dosari, emphasized the importance of the National Day that is celebrated every December 18, commemorating the founder of the modern state of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani.

He also highlighted Qatar’s remarkable achievements, which have enabled it to occupy an important and growing position in the international and regional arena.

In conclusion, the Ambassador emphasized the close and strong relations of friendship between Qatar, Albania and Kosovo, reaffirming the commitment of the embassy to deepen bilateral relations and support any initiative that contributes to the expansion of cooperation in all fields, for the benefit of the peoples of the three countries.
