In the last few days, citizens have said that their vaccination date for their second dose of ‘Sinovac’ has been postponed. In the vaccination station at the Skanderbeg square, there have been long lines starting from the first hours of the morning.

“The only one giving any explanation here is the policeman, the personnel doesn’t come. The policeman has told us to come back after three days,” said a citizen.

“Yesterday we were here and asked that police officer; he told us there isn’t any. I told him we have to take the second dose, he said there aren’t any,” says another citizen.

Meanwhile, another citizen stated that based on the information they have been able to collect, the doses of the vaccines had been limited. In fact, yesterday the inoculation process had ended since 1 p.m.

When asked by Euronews Albania, the Minister of Health said that the second dose of the Chinese vaccine isn’t being administered yet, but we’ve been overcrowded and we are initially vaccinating people from previous days.
