France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States of America have called on the Kosovo authorities to “immediately withdraw” from the actions in the north of Kosovo.

QUINT expresses that they condemn the attacks on EULEX in Zveçan and we call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoiding inciting rhetoric.

“We condemn Kosovo’s decision to force entry into municipal buildings in northern Kosovo, despite our call for restraint. We call on the Kosovo authorities to immediately withdraw and de-escalate and coordinate closely with EULEX and KFOR. We condemn the attacks against EULEX in Zveçan. We are concerned by Serbia’s decision to raise the level of readiness of its Armed Forces on the border with Kosovo, and we call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoiding inflammatory rhetoric,” says QUINT’s response.
