We are only one week away from June 13th, when the leadership elections for the new Chair of the Democratic Party will take place and Lulzim Basha was in Durres, Kruja and Fushe-Kruja to ask democrats to reconfirm his term as the party’s leader.
“There is no Albanian that doesn’t know that trickery and fraud are two of the main characteristics of Edi Rama, who made us participants in the massacre, participants in the theft, participants in the electoral crimes and this is what we will continue to be if we accept a grand coalition, if we take the hand being offered to us by the thief of the free will of Albanians on April 25th,” stated Basha.
The other candidate for the leadership of DP, Agron Shehaj was in the same cities and he also categorically turned down the offer of Edi Rama to collaborate.
“The first thing we will do is to make an analysis and change DP. There is no joint government, no agreement, only opposition. Edi Rama has been stealing for eight years in a row and he will continue to steal for the next four years. We will be there and denounce all the scandals,” stated Shehaj.
On the other hand, Fatardh Kadilli met with the women of the Democratic Party, saying that during the current leadership they have turned into “the leader’s décor”.
The only woman in the race, Edit Harxhi is holding her Saturday meetings in the county of Diber.
