Prime Minister, at the same time the chairman of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama held a thank-you meeting in Mat and Klos on Monday afternoon.

Rama has continued his tour of city-by-city meetings, after the victory of 53 municipalities in the May 14 local elections.

The head of the government thanked the citizens who trusted him with the vote in these elections, while he said that it is now up to the Socialist Party to do its job.

“We did not come to ask for your votes, but to thank you. You did your duty, now it’s up to us to do ours to turn this trust into good works and goodness and prosperity for your community.

Prime Minister declared during the tour that the citizens who did not vote did not burden their right-wing tradition with the shame of Ilir Meta’s vote.
