Rama introduces new economic and financial adviser: He worked with Angela Merkel

Lars-Hendrik Röller will be adviser to the prime minister for economy and finance.

The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama, through a post on social media, where he also shared a photo with him.

Rama announced that Röller has served as the Chief Economic Advisor to Angela Merkel, as for several months, he has taken the position of Director of the Board of Investments of BlackRock, the multinational colossus based in the United States.

“The special pleasure and privilege that joins us on our way, as advisor to the prime minister for economy and finance, Lars-Hendrik Röller, with whom we had two intensive days of very useful discussions.

Lars-Hendrik Röller directed the economic and financial policies of the German Chancellery from 2011 until the spring of this year, also covering for a decade the role of Chief Economic Adviser to Angela Merkel.

In this role, he led, among other things, the team of German negotiators in the G7 and G20 forums.

“For several months, he has taken the position of Director of the Board of Investments of BlackRock, the multinational colossus based in the United States, which manages the largest fund in the world with around 10 trillion USD,” Rama wrote on Facebook.
