Rama is expected by the head of the British Parliament: We regret the recent rhetoric towards Albanians
Prime Minister Edi Rama was in London today on an official visit.
The head of the Albanian government met with the head of the British parliament, Lindsay Hoyle, with whom he discussed relations between the two countries and parliamentary cooperation.
“Lindsay Hoyle, who expressed regret for the disturbing rhetoric towards Albanians and underlining the necessity of the joint fight against criminal networks, emphasized the undeniable values of the Albanian community in Britain, as well as elevated the role of Albania in the international arena,” reads the post published on Prime Minister Rama’s Facebook page.
Today, the head of the Albanian government also met with the Prime Minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak.
In his visit to London, Rama is accompanied by the Minister of Finance Delina Ibrahimaj, the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi and the British Ambassador in Tirana, Alastair King-Smith.
