Prime Minister Edi Rama received his counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Dervican earlier today.

The head of government asked his Greek counterpart to give his word that he will come back to visit our country to inaugurate the square which will bear the name of his father.

Rama joked that he will continue to be the prime minister of the country when the Greek PM does decide to come back.

“I want the prime minister to give you his word that he will come back to Albania. The main square here will bear the name of the Greek prime minister’s father. The bust of the prime minister will be placed in his honor. Give us your word that you will come to inaugurate the square and place the bust of your late father. When you do, I’ll still be Prime Minister” – said Rama in a seemingly joking manner.
