Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after the terrorist attack on the aviation center in Ankara where 5 people lost their lives and 22 others were injured.

Through a post on X, Rama states that “we strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms”.

“We are deeply saddened by the reports of the dead and wounded in Ankara. Albania stands with Turkey as two brotherly countries and NATO allies. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and remain fully convinced that the Turkish Republic will emerge stronger from such a cowardly attack on its innocent citizens”, writes Rama in X.

The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon. Security camera footage of the attack, broadcast on television, showed a man in civilian clothes holding a rifle and a backpack.

Earlier, the media reported that an explosion and gunshots were heard in the company’s building and that employees were taken to a safe place.
