Prime Minister Edi Rama has commented for the first time on President Bajram Begaj’s decree on the Tirana elections, setting the election date, during Friday’s meeting with the Socialist Party structures of Tirana.

“The President signed the decree of his own will,” Rama said before the political leaders and Socialist MPs engaged in Tirana for the November 9 elections, according to Euronews Albania sources reported by journalist Eksiola Shehu.

At this meeting, the division of electoral zones by units was finalized, and it was confirmed that all ministers and MPs residing in Tirana, who no longer have responsibilities in other regions they previously covered, will be involved in the electoral campaign in the capital.
