Prime Minister Edi Rama has made changes to the leadership structures of the Socialist Party in Vlora. Admir Malaj and Vilma Bello will no longer serve as co-chairs of the local party branch. Klevis Kaso has been appointed as acting chairman of the Socialist Party in Vlora, while Erjona Ismaili has been named co-chair.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Rama held a meeting in the city of Vlora, during which he openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the Vlora Municipality and local institutions.
Sources from the meeting revealed that Rama’s main criticism focused on the poor management of the tourist season, the lack of drinking water, and growing citizen complaints about public services.
The Prime Minister has demanded the resignation of several local institutional leaders who, according to him, have failed to demonstrate efficiency or fulfill their functional duties — including the removal of Admir Malaj and Vilma Bello.
