Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared on social networks the figures of tourists who have visited Albania until the month of August.
According to the head of government, the number of tourists who entered Albania through Rinas airport during the month of August is 1 million 251,467, with a 41% increase from August 2023.
The Prime Minister emphasizes that the total number of tourists who entered from Rinas during the January-August period is 56% greater than last year.

ALBANIA DOES NOT STOP in increasing the number of tourists and Rinas in August exceeded any optimistic forecast, with 1 million and 251,467 passengers or 368,456 (41%) more than last August.
The January-August 2024 balance reaches 7 million and 233,711 passengers who entered Rinas alone, where in the same period last year their number was 4 million and 606,805. This balance speaks of 56% growth in the current year.
This year’s novelty is nearly 4,000 passengers from Japan, another 4,000 from New Zealand, almost 20,000 from Australia and 35,000 from Canada.
