Lessons in Albanian schools take place through noise.

In the analysis that the experts of the PISA 2022 international report did for Albania, they pointed out that 11% of students reported that in most lessons teachers have to wait a long time for the class to calm down to develop the lesson. This is one of the reasons why 15-year-olds performed poorly in the test done in 2022.

But as loud as they are, some Albanian students are also negligent, they often skip class.

According to the report, in 2022, 31% of students had missed school for one day during the 2 weeks that the test was conducted, while 44% of students in grade 9 were late to class.

Experts have revealed another disturbing fact, bullying. 25% of 15-year-olds are bullied at school, bullied students were more likely to drop out of school and perform poorly in school.
