Painter Arben Golemi has opened the new exhibition titled Renaissance, bringing to the public the paintings of the most popular capitals in the world. For Euronews Albania, the well-known painter also talks about his next projects, including the opening of an exhibition in New York.

Paris, New York, Firenze and Amsterdam are the next inspiration for the painter and architect Arben Golemi in the “Rinascimento” exhibition.

In this exhibition Golemi brings reflections of iconic structures with architectural elements to offer a unique perspective on the intersection of art and architecture during the Renaissance, the transformative era in history.

“Renaissance is an integral part of our life, and the architecture, arts and paintings that developed after the renaissance, until our days and in the future, will most certainly have a part of the renaissance”, said Arben Golemi.

The artist promises that there will be a succession of works that will be added to this exhibition, not leaving behind his beloved, the city of Berat.

“For all the subjects, louvre, cathedral, gothic, etc. and my city Berat is also part, it is good to be reviewed from time to time, they bring out new ideas and gain qualitative values, it will be an exhibition renaissance 2, renaissance 3 and so on “, said Arben Golemi.

“The large format paintings are made with oil on canvas, while 8 of the other paintings are oil on paper, this is also an interesting technique”, said Arben Golemi.

The artist revealed to Euronews some of his upcoming exhibitions.

“Undoubtedly, next year in April there will be my FAB gallery exhibition, meanwhile there will be an exhibition together with Bashkim Ahmet at “The Armory Show” in New York”, said Arben Golemi.

“Rinacimento” is the open exhibition at Golemi Art Gallery that takes us on a visually fascinating journey through architectural wonders brought to life through oil on canvas.
